One of the things I don't play with, is the word of God, God's word has really changed my life, I know that when God says a word, He is not a man that He should lie, neither is He a son of man that He should change His mind. He accomplishes that which He says He will do. So when God said let there be light, and there was light, He said let Fish come out and fish came out, and then He says YOU MUST FLOURISH, does it make sense for you to start doubting His word, even after you see the way He takes care of the birds and plants? Why is it that when it comes to man, Man starts doubting God.
There's something the Holy Spirit said to me that just keeps ringing in my ears. He said FLOURISH is not a prayer point, it's a Command from God. You must flourish. You can't be rooted in Christ and fail to flourish. So IT IS A COMMAND. and what do you do to commands, YOU SIMPLY OBEY. So when God says FLOURISH, you must step out in Faith and FLOURISH.
One thing I learnt from nature (branches) is they do nothing, as long as they're rooted in the vine, they flourish, they sprout, they produce fruits. That is the command to flourish, just stay rooted, the vine shall supply the nutrients and your job is to Flourish.
There are beautiful insights God opened my eyes to, in this scripture (Matthew 13:24-30). I want to share with you.
Matthew 13:24-30
[24]Jesus presented another parable to them, saying, "The kingdom of heaven may be compared to a man who sowed good seed in his field.
[25]But while his men were sleeping, his enemy came and sowed tares among the wheat, and went away.
[26]But when the wheat sprouted and bore grain, then the tares became evident also.
[27]The slaves of the landowner came and said to him, 'Sir, did you not sow good seed in your field? How then does it have tares?'
[28]And he said to them, 'An enemy has done this!' The slaves said to him, 'Do you want us, then, to go and gather them up?'
[29]But he said, 'No; for while you are gathering up the tares, you may uproot the wheat with them.
[30]Allow both to grow together until the harvest; and in the time of the harvest I will say to the reapers, "First gather up the tares and bind them in bundles to burn them up; but gather the wheat into my barn."'" The Mustard Seed
The word says, the Kingdom of God is like a man who sows good seeds in the field. First of all we must know that we're God's Field and He has sown His good seeds (word of God) in us. The things the lord has spoken over you. And the scripture goes ahead to say, BUT WHILE MEN SLEPT, his enemy came and sowed tares alongside the good seeds. So that tells me that the only time the enemy will have an opportunity over your life and possession is while men slept. It is while men slept that the enemy saw an opportunity to sow tares alongside the good seeds. When the Bible says while men slept, it doesn't mean that you will not sleep. The scripture means that you have to be alert and focused on the assignment at hand or on what God says about you, because when God speak a word over your life, the enemy will come and whisper doubt, unbelief, lies but you must be able to differentiate the good seeds from the tares. (Weed). You must be vigilant and alert, Don't lose focus on your assignment or on the word of God.
Be very intentional about focusing on what God says than the enemy's lies and schemes. This is not the time to be prayerless. Let your strength not be small. The Bible says,” if you faint in the day of the adversity, then your strength is small.” BUILD CAPACITY IN THE PLACE OF PRAYER. Don't give the enemy a sit at your table.
KEEP YOUR EYES ON THE LORD AT ALL TIMES.
I pray that as you meditate on the word throughout the week, may the minister to you fresh insight. You're blessed.
Shalom 🤍
